Expanding Oral Health Care Access W.K. Kellogg Foundation
KAI crafts communications strategies, creates educational products, and conducts media outreach to assist the W. K. Kellogg Foundation with its oral health care access campaign. Our "Bringing Back Smiles" video framed the need for expanding oral health care access and told the story of how Alaska’s dental therapists are providing safe, competent, and appropriate care.
Retailer Training Video, Protect Our Future: Prevent Tobacco Sales to Minors U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
We produced this training video to inform tribal tobacco retailers about regulations for tobacco sales and American Indian and Alaska Native minors. Designed to be flexible, the video can be a stand-alone educational tool, or it can be distributed as a video brochure in which the video is embedded in a print brochure that highlights specific facts for easy reference.
Health Matters: Insurance Coverage for American Indians and Alaska Natives Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
KAI received the Summit Creative Award for its "Health Matters" campaign, which encourages urban American Indians and Alaska Natives to enroll in health insurance. In this series, many Native voices – including a comic, an actor, a track-and-field star, a bull rider, a jingle dress dancer, a storyteller, and a singer-songwriter – describe why health care matters in Indian Country.
